Man Arrested for Child Sexual Assault

A Graves County man was arrested last week on child sexual abuse charges.

According to Kentucky State Police, they started an investigation July 7 after getting a call that a child had been abused. On July 22, they arrested 41-year-old Thomas C. Elliot of Hickory on sexual assault charges.

Elliot was taken to Graves County Jail, and faces 3 counts of 1st degree rape of a victim under 12 years old, 7 counts of 1st degree sodomy of a victim under 12, and 2 counts of use of a minor in a sexual performance.

The investigation is ongoing.
