Cocaine Dealer Gets More Than 12 Years in Prison

PADUCAH, KY - A man from Graves County has been sentenced in U.S. District Court to more than 12 years in federal prison for selling cocaine.
Senior Judge Thomas B. Russell announced the sentence Tuesday in Paducah. The man, 31-year-old Deangelo Collins of Mayfield received 151 months in jail followed by 5 years supervised release.

Three times in late 2011, Collins was videotaped selling a cocaine base to a confidential informant working for the Drug Enforcement Administration and Graves County Sheriff's Department. The three transactions totaled 71 grams of cocaine. Collins was charged on February 14 on a three-county indictment by a grand jury, and he entered a guilty plea on all counts June 26.
