Man Injured After Semi Flips in Carlisle County

CARLISLE COUNTY - A Fancy Farm man received minor injuries after an accident in Carlisle County on Wednesday.

According to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office, deputies were notified of an accident involving a truck that had rolled over on State Route 307.

Officers learned that 49-year-old Elbert Courtney had been traveling north on State Route 307 in his semi, when the passenger side tires went off the edge of the road. Courtney says he attempted to correct the semi, however it crossed the highway, spun around and left the road, where it rolled over on its side.

Courtney was able to get out of his vehicle, and was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The southbound lane was closed for approximately 4 hours while the accident was cleaned up.
