Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

MADISONVILLE, KY - A Greenville man was injured when he crashed his motorcycle in Hopkins County Friday morning.

According to Kentucky State Police, 65-year-old Freeman Croft was operating his motorcycle eastbound on KY 85 at around 7:30 am. When he attempted to make a right turn onto KY 70, Croft lost control of the motorcycle, crossing the westbound lane and coming to rest in a ditch.

Croft was transported via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment of undisclosed injuries. KSP reports that Croft was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Trooper Jonathan Murphy investigated at the scene. He was assisted by Sergeant Daniel White, Anton Fire Department, and Med Center EMS.
