At about 4:00 am, deputies were dispatched to a home on Barrett Road, and found the victim, 21-year-old Dustin Edging of Calvert City, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, and detectives were called to the home to continue the investigation.
The department says there are no suspects at this time, and anyone with information should call Marshall County Crime Stoppers at 270-527-COPS (2677). Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
