Marcella's Kitchen Burglarized Twice in Past Week

A significant amount of food has been taken from a Marshall County food kitchen in two burglaries over the past week.

Marcella Perkins, founder and operator of Marcella's Kitchen, told West Kentucky Star that the burglaries took place last weekend, and also again on Tuesday evening. 

Perkins said if those that took the food would ask, they would be most happy to feed them. She said, "we serve lunch 11:00 to 1:00 five days a week, make sure you don't leave here hungry. If you want seconds, we will give it to you. We feed people every day, five days a week."
