Marijuana Grow Station Found in Home; Two Arrested

Two Graves County residents were arrested Thursday after police reportedly found a marijuana grow operation at their home.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, investigators received information of illegal drug activity taking place at a home in the 100 block of Dorothy Lane in Mayfield. Officers went to the home and conducted a search.

During the search of the property, officers reportedly found an illegal marijuana grow station inside a closet with several marijuana plants. Police also seized three bags of marijuana, along with scales, pipes and other items of drug paraphernalia.

The two residents of the home, 27-year-old Scott Ausmus and 28-year-old Cheyenne Aalder, were arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. Both are charged with cultivating marijuana five plants or more, trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
