Marshall Deputies Arrest Two Men on Meth Charges

MARSHALL COUNTY - Two men were arrested Saturday on methamphetamine charges.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said a deputy saw a vehicle leaving a known drug area in Hardin. The deputy reportedly observed traffic violations and the driver, Anthony Ruff, was arrested on several charges, including operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In a separate incident on Saturday, deputies responded to the Old Gilbertsville area about a domestic violence complaint. The investigation led to the arrest of Michael Lawrence on charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, menacing, terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

Both men were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
