MAYFIELD, KY - The Mayfield Air Evac Lifeteam crew invites the public to attend an open house celebration at 11 am today. The base, which officially opened in April, is located at 1113 Medical Center Drive, adjacent to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

Guests will be treated to refreshments, and tours of the red, white and blue Air Evac helicopter. Congressman Ed Whitfield of Kentucky’s First Congressional District is also scheduled to attend

“This is our way of thanking everyone in the community for their support,” said Mark Harrison, Program Director in charge of operations at the base. “Air Evac Lifeteam is proud to serve the Mayfield area, and we want the citizens to know how appreciative we are for being welcomed with open arms.”
