President of Graves County Economic Development Ryan Drane announced on Friday ACE Compressor in Mayfield has expanded their operation to create 10 new jobs and continue to diversify their business. Founded in 2009 by Johnnie and Paula Lee, ACE Compressor Services Inc. offers replacement parts and service for centrifugal air compressors.

“ACE is committed to investing in Graves County and with this new facility we will be bringing a service that has been outsourced to other states back to Mayfield, KY. This allows us to not only offer a better product with better turnaround times to our customers, but to reinvest in this community and bring jobs back to Graves County,” said Vice President of Operations Jody Howell.

After constructing a new building at their current location in 2014, business continued to increase. To meet these demands, ACE has now constructed a 3,000 sq. ft. addition next to their current building.

“I am very excited to see ACE Compressor Services grow from a small company to becoming a large contributor to Graves County,” said Judge-Executive Jesse Perry. “I want to say thank you to them for believing in Graves County.”

“As State Representative of Graves County, I am excited to see growth from one of our existing industries, ACE Compressor Services,” said Representative Richard Heath of Mayfield. “Though I will not be able to be present for the ribbon cutting, I want to extend my very best wishes to ACE and share in the excitement of this expansion.”

“ACE Compressor is the perfect example of how Johnnie and Paula Lee saw an opportunity, developed a plan, and worked hard to make their dream a reality,” said Ryan Drane, President of Graves County Economic Development. “These things are continuing to pay dividends as this is their second expansion announcement in the last 24 months. We are certainly proud of what they have achieved and look forward to their continued growth in the future.”

This announcement comes on the heels of another recent groundbreaking held at a lot beside ACE Compressor for LSK, Inc. LSK is a local machining operation that is a supplier to many compressor companies in the region.
