On Thursday, November 8th, The Kentucky State Police Post 1 received a complaint from a resource officer at Graves County High School.
School officials had learned of a possible inappropriate relationship between a 16-year-old student and an adult. After an investigation, 28-year-old David S. Darnell, was arrested and charged with promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 18 (Class C Felony), unlawful transaction with a minor 1st degree-illegal sex act under 18 (Class C Felony), and possess/view matter portraying sexual performance by a minor (Class D Felony).
