According to the Mayfield Police Department, 28-year-old James E. Minton of Mayfield, was placed under arrest after a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon. Police say Minton was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended operator's license. It was also discovered that Minton had an active arrest warrant out of Illinois for operating with a suspended operator's license.
During a search of Minton's vehicle, officers
allegedly found marijuana. Minton was placed under arrest and
transported to the Graves County Jail.
Minton was charged with
failure to wear a seat belt, operating on a suspended operator's
license, possession of marijuana and on the fugitive from another
state warrant.
