The Mayfield Police Department says 20-year-old Tilonnie Williams is charged with fugitive from justice, two counts of wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct, fleeing or evading police and giving an officer false identifying information.
Officers were called to the Budget Inn on Broadway where they reportedly found Williams speaking incoherently. Police say they tried to identify Williams, but he intentionally gave them incorrect information.
When police went to detain Williams, he broke free and led officers on a short foot pursuit. Williams was eventually apprehended, but officers say he continued to resist arrest.
Williams was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center where he was medically cleared with no injuries. After officers were able to properly identify Williams, they determined he was a wanted fugitive from North Carolina on a probation and parole warrant. He was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
