Mayfield Woman Arrested on Meth Charge, Warrant

MAYFIELD - A traffic stop Monday led to the arrest of a Mayfield woman on drug charges.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, an officer spotted 39-year-old Unique Robinson driving a vehicle on Farthing Street. A computer check revealed that Robinson had an active warrant.

The officer conducted a traffic stop near a business on West Farthing Street and South 9th Street. While placing Robinson under arrest, the officer said he could smell an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.  

A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a white crystal-like substance, which field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Robinson was placed under arrest and lodged in the Graves County Jail. She's charged with possession of methamphetamine and no operator's license. She was also served the warrant, charging her with 3rd degree burglary.
