Mayfield's Downtown Cruise-ins Begin Saturday
By WestKyStar Staff
MAYFIELD, KY - Downtown Mayfield will come alive this Saturday night with cars featured in the monthly Top Gun Car Show Series’ Cruise-In. Cars begin to arrive at 4 pm and participants will enjoy music, and lots of door prizes. There is no admission charge. The series will continue in downtown Mayfield on the third Saturday night each month.

“It’s a way we can provide a little extra ‘something’ for our community," said Mayfield Mayor Teresa Cantrell. "I appreciate so much the efforts of Bluegrass Productions in this monthly cruise-in."

Residents are encouraged to bring their show cars, or just simply stop in and register for door prizes. Saturday night’s charity will be the City Public Works’ Relay for Life Team. They will be selling food items and drinks, as well as t-shirts, bracelets, hair extensions and tattoos as part of their fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society.

And as a reminder, Broadway will be closed to through traffic between 6th & 7th Streets beginning at 4 pm. Motorists are asked to watch for and observe all city barricades.
