The Kentucky State Police, other law enforcement, and emergency personnel were at a home on US 68 after receiving a call about a medical emergency. Officials say there was no criminal activity involved.
The area between US 68 before Eggner's Ferry Bridge and up to the Dollar General on State Route 402 was closed while law enforcement resolved the situation. The roadway is now back open.
