The Kentucky Transportation Department is reporting some minor flooding in the area.

Benton Birmingham Road and Milliken Mills Road in Marshall County are closed due to water over the road.

KY 1255/Bonds Road in McCracken County is closed due to high water from the 1 to 2mm. This section of 1255 is serving as a detour for KY 348 which is closed at Hardmoney for a bridge replacement project.

KY 123 in Hickman County is closed from the 14-16 MP due to high water.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet personnel have been out patrolling in Calloway County due to minor flooding reported along state highways at a couple of locations.

Most of the locations in Calloway County are marked with "Road May Flood" signs. Crews are putting up additional "Water Over Road" signs where appropriate.

Due to persistent rain, water is on the edge of the roadway and out onto the pavement in some areas. As rain continues through the day this may become a more widespread problem and may extend into more counties.

If you are out on the road today, you are urged to slow down and use appropriate caution.
