A report of a reckless driver on Friday led to a traffic stop and a Mayfield woman's arrest.

Mayfield Police pulled over a vehicle near North 17th Street. Police said field sobriety tests indicated that the driver, 42-year-old Amanda Skaggs was under the influence of alcohol. A vehicle search led to seizure of medications for which Skaggs had no prescription.

Skaggs had her eleven-year-old child in the vehicle.

Skaggs was arrested for DUI with aggravating circumstances, wanton endangerment 2nd degree, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (opiates), failure to maintain insurance and failure to notify DOT of an address change. She was taken to Graves County Jail.
