Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Caldwell Man

A Caldwell County man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle.

Kentucky State Police said the collision happened just before 9:00 pm on KY 672 near Grove Cemetery. Troopers said 30-year-old Dustin Brashear of Nebo struck a motorcycle operated by 54-year-old Ricky Pitt of Princeton, as he turned from Grove Cemetery.

Pitt was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN, where he was later pronounced dead.

Brashear was uninjured in the collision.
