By West Kentucky Star Staff
MURRAY - A Calloway County attorney charged with theft from his clients was in court Thursday.

Joseph W. Bolin of Murray appeared before Judge James Jameson in Calloway County Circuit Court. The court clerk told West Kentucky Star a trial was set for September 4-6, with a final pre-trial conference scheduled for August 6.

Bolin was indicted and arrested last November after a seven-month investigation revealed he had not made over $900,000 in required disbursement payments to clients from probate cases he was overseeing.

Bolin faces two charges of theft by failure to make required disposition over $10,000, which is a Class C felony.
