Murray Hospital Reinstates No-Visitor Policy
By West Kentucky Star Staff
CALLOWAY COUNTY - Murray-Calloway County Hospital has reinstated its 'no visitor' policy due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

The policy will go into effect on Thursday, November 19.

Due to the sustained and accelerating number of new COVID-19 cases across Calloway County, Murray-Calloway County Hospital is restricting visitors to the hospital, procedural areas, and clinics.

Health officials say there will be a limited exception for minors, end-of-life situations, and those that need assistance from a personal care attendant.

The policy will not apply to Spring Creek Health Care Nursing & Rehab, or the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Physician clinic patients should enter through the Medical Arts Building West Wing and are asked to have no more than one personal care attendant each. Everyone should come to their appointment alone if they can.

Anyone needing COVID testing should visit the Murray Medical Drive Thru clinic located off 9th Street at the West Entrance.

Anyone in need of additional information should contact Melony Bray at 270-762-1381.
