Jackson says he is looking forward to spending more time with his wife Karen, of 23 years, his children, 7 grandchildren, and their dog Nico.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Memphis, Jackson completed an internship in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and first started a practice in July, 1971. He was in the navy form 1969-1971 until he moved to Murray and began practice at that time.
“Moving to Murray was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” said Jackson. The biggest change he’s seen at MCCH over the years was the completion and building of the South Tower in 2010. He also says he believes that for a town the size of Murray, they have some of the best doctors he’s seen in his life.
Jackson said he and his wife Karen look forward to traveling more and visiting some of their favorite places, including New Orleans and New York. Jackson also plans to continue consulting with the computer company Meridian, which he developed in 1998.
