A Nashville man was hurt in a Wednesday afternoon crash on I-24.

According to Kentucky State Police, at around 2:30 pm 82-year-old Billy Turner was driving eastbound on I-24 near the 43 mile marker when he fell asleep and veered into the median. Turner then woke up, over-corrected, and re-entered traffic in the eastbound lane. The vehicle began skidding and then left the interstate again, striking a guard rail before overturning.

Turner was pulled from the vehicle by other motorists and was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
