Administrator David Dietz said he received confirmation that several staff members and residents at Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center have tested positive. The exact number of cases was not disclosed. Dietz said those affected are stable at this time and not showing any significant symptoms.
Dietz said they have been working with the health department and following every CDC recommendation and regulation. He said all areas of the building are being disinfected, and all staff are wearing protective equipment at all times in the facility.
Dietz said facility staff continue to work diligently on infection prevention and are monitoring all staff and residents closely.
