One Dead in Lyon County Crash

A man was killed Saturday evening when the car he was driving ran off the road and struck a tree.

Shortly after 11:00 pm Saturday, Kentucky State Police Troopers responded to a single-vehicle collision at the 4 mile marker of KY 274. Police said their preliminary investigation showed that 58-year-old Kenneth Hall was driving south on KY 274 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree.

Hall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lyon County Coroner. Kentucky State Troopers were assisted on the scene by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Lyon County EMS, Eddyville Fire Department, Lyon County Rescue Squad, and the Lyon County Coroner’s Office.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
