One Hurt When Van Strikes Truck

MURRAY, KY - A two-vehicle collision in Calloway County Monday left one man injured. According to Kentucky State Police the accident happened at 3 pm at the intersection of KY 1346 and Radio Road.

Police said a van driven by 56-year-old James Phillips of Hardin was traveling east on Roosevelt Road when he disregarded the stop sign and crossed over Radio Road in front of a truck driven by 69-year-old James Puckett of Hardin who was traveling south on Radio Road.

Puckett’s van struck Phillips’ truck at the intersection. Puckett sustained minor injuries but did not need medical attention. Phillips was not injured in the crash.
