According to the Mayfield Police
Department, a vehicle driven by Sharonda Barnhill was traveling on
West College Street and stopped at the stop sign. She told police she
checked the directions on her phone and then pulled out. Barnhill's vehicle struck a northbound
vehicle on 9th Street, driven by Tim Choate.
Choate was
taken by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment
of his injuries.
Barnhill was cited to court for failure to maintain insurance.
