Paducah Improv's Studio Series On for Saturday
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah lmprov Studio Series moves up a week to this Saturday, September 21'' at 7 pm and 9 pm. With two shows, once a month in an intimate setting, this is a great way to catch Paducah's fresh and exciting comedy troupe.

This up close and personal series, with its 75-seat theater style environment, will give the improvisation company a chance to explore long form improv, as well as develop new games for their upcoming appearances at The Carson Center's Myre River Room throughout the year. The Studio Series is held the last Saturday of the month at The Market House Studio Theater, 120 Market House Square in Paducah. Doors open at 6 pm. Tickets are $5 for general admission and will be sold at the door the night of the shows. Some material may include mature subject matter. After each show the group will host a "short form jam" in which they invite volunteer members of the audience to join in on comedy skits.

Paducah lmprov performs a live comedy show made up on stage and on the spot by creative, regional talent. Using audience suggestions and participation, the actors play out a show while creating the plot, setting and dialogue for each scene "off the cuff".
