Last October, the Murray Police Department investigated when a large amount of money was taken from a machine at FNB Bank in Murray. As part of their investigation, surveillance photos were distributed showing the suspect's vehicle.
A police detective followed up on leads that led them to 42-year-old Thomas Wadley of Paducah.
Wadley was charged Wednesday with one count of theft by unlawful taking over $500 but under $10,000, and taken to Calloway County Jail.
