A man was arrested Tuesday after police allegedly found over 75 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 24.

According to Kentucky State Police, Troopers stopped a vehicle near the 47 mile marker in Lyon County for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, police said they saw several indicators of criminal behavior, which led to a search of the vehicle.

During the search, Troopers found edible marijuana, as well as over 75 pounds of high grade marijuana.

Troopers arrested 37-year-old Michael D. Wilson, of Edmonds, WA, and charged him with trafficking marijuana greater than five pounds. Wilson was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
