The Cadiz Police Department has issued a warrant in connection to a bank robbery Thursday.

Police said they are searching for 19-year-old Donald Cardale Bacon II of Cadiz, and they have charged him with Robbery - Second Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with Thursday's robbery at Heritage Bank in Cadiz.

Police said Bacon came into the bank just after noon dressed in a light blue hooded sweatshirt, which was turned around with the hood over his face with eye holes cut out of the hood. Bacon demanded money from the teller. Police said no one saw Bacon brandish a weapon,  and no one was injured.

Bacon then fled the scene on foot to a wooded area near the bank.

Cadiz Police said they are continuing to follow up on leads and tips. They said tracking dogs and a crime scene unit from the Hopkinsville Police Department assisted at the scene.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Cadiz Police Department at 522-8888.
