Pursuit Leads to Marshall Man's Arrest

MARSHALL COUNTY - A Marshall County man was arrested on multiple charges following a pursuit on Thursday.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said deputies were requested by Probation & Parole to assist them with a home visit for Roy Marchand. As officers were approaching, Marchand got into a vehicle and drove away.

Marchand, who was known to have a suspended driver's license, led police on a slow speed pursuit. The pursuit ended a few miles outside of Benton on Dogtown Road. 

Marchand was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail. He's charged with fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an open alcohol container and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
