A rolling work zone will be in place on several highways in western Kentucky this week.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will have slow-moving work zone caravan in place along various highways in Graves, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, and McCracken counties as they install raised pavement markers.

Work through these counties is expected to take 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting.

KYTC says drivers should be alert for the caravan, work zone and one-lane traffic in the immediate area.

The $1.1 million project will continue at various locations around the region through the construction season as weather allows.
