The case against a teen accused in a mass shooting last month at Marshall County High School is set to go to a grand jury.

According to the Kentucky State Police, the case will go to a Marshall County grand jury on Tuesday. If the grand jury returns an indictment against the 15-year-old defendant, Circuit Judge Jamie Jameson will schedule an arraignment in Marshall County Circuit Court.

The as yet unnamed teen is accused of opening fire in the commons area of the school on the morning of Jan. 23, killing 15-year-old Bailey Nicole Holt and 15-year-old Preston Ryan Cope, and injuring several others.
