Search On for Graves County Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect in a Sunday night convenience store robbery in Graves County.

Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden says deputies responded at around 8:35 p.m. to the the Stop and Go Food Mart at the intersection of Highway 58 East and Highway 131.

Hayden described the suspect, who fled the scene in an easterly direction, as a heavy set black male wearing a black hoodie with a bandana. He is believed to have been armed with a handgun, but no shots were fired during the robbery. Deputies don't know what type of vehicle the suspect was driving.

Hayden asked anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of the robbery to contact Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721.
