Kentucky State Police have one suspect and are searching for another in connection to a Hickman County shooting last week that left a Mayfield man with leg injuries.

Officers say 20-year-old Ryan Thomas stated that he stopped at a home on Ky 944 in Hickman County shortly before 5pm on November 8 to visit with friends. When he arrived, two black males allegedly approached him. A physical altercation began, and one of the suspects allegedly shot Thomas in the leg.

The suspects fled in a vehicle that was recovered a short time later in Clinton. One of the suspects has been identified as 20-year-old Dominique Harper of Clinton. Authorities continue to search for Harper, and encourage anyone with information about his location to contact Kentucky State Police at 800-222-5555. Harper is considered armed and dangerous.

Another suspect in the case, 23-year-old Demarcus Robinson of Clinton, has been located, and is charged with robbery, assault, wanton endangerment, as well as other charges.

Ryan Thomas was taken to Parkway Regional Hospital for treatment.
