Sheriff Investigating Storage Unit Thefts

AURORA, KY - The Marshall County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the theft of tools from a storage unit.
On June 28th, Lt. Brett Edwards responded to a call at Aurora Storage Facility regarding the theft. The suspects cut the lock from the storage unit and removed over 100 different construction tools and accessories valued at over $8,400.
The theft occurred sometime between June 14th through June 28th, and other storage units in the facility were also broken into around these dates.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who has information about these crimes should contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office or call Crime Stoppers at 527-COPS.
