A Smithland man, accused of theft and burglary, was arrested on Tuesday.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Deputies, working with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, executed a search warrant at the residence of 29-year-old Robert E. Mallory.

They report that several items were recovered from thefts and burglaries that have taken place in recent weeks.

Mallory was arrested and his charges include one count of unlawful taking under $10,000, receiving stolen property under $10,000, and 3rd degree burglary. All three charges are Class D felonies.

Deputies say the investigation is on going, and additional arrests are possible.
