Spring Creek Health Care Hosts 9/11 Remembrance

MURRAY, KY - A September 11 remembrance ceremony and flag dedication will be held at 9 am Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Spring Creek Health Care, 1401 South 16th Street in Murray.
The service will be held at the site of a new flagpole recently donated and installed by the local Woodmen of the World and Forever Green Lawn Service. After a moment of silence and prayer by Rev. John Dale, Keith Travis, Vice President of Institutional Development at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, will dedicate the flagpole and recognize and highlight military veterans in attendance. The American flag will then be raised as “Taps” is played. Calloway County Judge-Executive Larry Elkins and Murray Mayor Bill Wells will also make remarks at the event.
