Status Hearing for Murder Suspects Set for July 30

MAYFIELD, KY - A status hearing for two Wingo men charged with murder and attempted murder is set for July 30 in Graves Circuit Court.
Jacob Carder and Kenon Andrews have been indicted on two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder as well a being persistent felony offenders following a March 27 shooting near Fancy Farm that left two people dead and one injured.
The two men were set to appear before Judge Tim Stark Monday but Andrews could not be present so Stark delayed action on the case until both men could be there.
Carder and Andrews are accused of killing 22-year-old Jonathon Cagle and 25-year-old Ashley Lambert and injuring 18-year-old Whitley Moore at a home in Dublin.
Cagle, Lambert and Moore were shot from close range. Lambert died the next day. Cagle died two days after the shooting.
Carder and Andrews remain in custody at the Graves County Jail with their bonds set at $1 million.
