The United Steelworkers Local 680 boasts a membership of over 300 men and women, many of whom reside in Graves and McCracken counties, in which the 2nd district is comprised.
“I am extremely honored that the United Steelworkers have chosen to endorse my run for State Representative,” Wright said. “Bringing jobs to our area is one of the most important reasons behind my decisions to run for office. I look forward to joining with the members of the United Steelworkers Union to work toward accomplishing that common goal.”
Wright was endorsed in March by the United Auto Workers and the AFL-CIO. Wright is making his first bid for political office running on the Democratic ticket for Kentucky State Representative, representing Graves County and portions of southern McCracken County.
