Sturgis Man Hurt in US 60 Crash

MARION, KY - A Sturgis man was hurt Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash near Marion.
According to the Kentucky State Police, 51-year-old Jerry Wright of Sturgis was traveling eastbound on US 60 E near State Route 365 at around 10:30 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the roadway. Wright's vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned, where it came to rest off the roadway.
Wright was taken by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Union County of treatment of injuries he sustained in the crash. Police said he was wearing his seat belt.
