Sub-Zero Wind Chill, More Freezing Rain Possible
By WKyStar Staff
As the season's first winter storm moves off to the east, another round of frozen precipitation this weekend could add to the sleet and snow already on the ground.

First is a night in the deep freeze, as gusty north winds behind the storm front will make it feel as cold as four degrees below zero Saturday morning.

Then, another bout of freezing rain is possible on Sunday. Some accumulation is possible, particularly in western Kentucky before clearing by Monday, with more single-digit wind chills possible.

Temperatures are not expected to even approach normal levels until next Friday's high in the 40s.
