Suspects Arrested in Graves, Calloway Burglaries
By West Kentucky Star Staff
GRAVES COUNTY - The Graves County Sheriff's Office says suspects have been arrested and evidence has been seized in a storage unit burglary investigation.

Sheriff Jon Hayden says the suspects broke into numerous storage units on KY Highway 80 East Tuesday night, just south of Mayfield. Deputies say the suspects caused substantial damage across 30 storage units between midnight and 7 a.m.

The thefts involve a large number of victims and items exceeding $33,000 in value. Some of the stolen items include ammunition, firearms, tools, electronics, and liquor.

Deputies also seized a vehicle believed to have been used in the thefts, and it was found to have been stolen from the St. Louis area in January.

The suspects, who are St. Louis residents, are also believed to have been involved in another attempted burglary of a home early Thursday morning in Calloway County during which shots were fired by the homeowner.

Names and charges of the suspects have not yet been released.
