Troopers were contacted just before 8 am Monday in reference to a suspicious item that was found taped to the front doors of the Todd County Sheriff's Department. While Troopers were headed to Elkton, a second device was found on the front door of the Todd County Justice Center.
The Kentucky State Police Hazardous Devices Unit was contacted and responded to the scene. Both devices were found to be non-hazardous and were collected as evidence.
A similar device was found at the Justice Center in Logan County. State police responded and that item was also deemed non-hazardous.
