Police say a person has been arrested and faces charges related to a shooting last Monday that resulted in a teen's death, but the suspected murderer has not been found.

According to the Princeton Police Department, officers have charged a 17-year-old juvenile with 1st degree robbery. The charge stems from the investigation into events related to the shooting death of 15-year-old De’Aryn Hamilton on the night of February 13.

The juvenile, whose name was not released, was taken to McCracken County Juvenile Detention facility.

Police found Hamilton lying in the street around 8pm on February 13, and he later died at a local hospital from a single gunshot wound.

Police say their murder suspect, 20-year-old Deshaun La’Keith Palmer (AKA Shaun P) of Madisonville, has not been found.

Palmer is considered armed and dangerous, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone who knows Palmer’s whereabouts should contact Princeton Police or local law enforcement.
