Murray Hospice Telethon Ends Tonight

MURRAY, KY - With less than $200,000 left to go in the $3.5 million campaign to build a hospice house in Murray, a three-day telethon concludes tonight to raise funds.

The telethon began Tuesday on Murray Electric System's cable channel 15, and will wrap up tonight from 6 - 7:30pm.

Programming will include information about the proposed residential hospice house, and the existing hospice program at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, along with testimonials and a rolling total of funds raised.

Donations can be made during the telethon by calling (270)761-6000, or online anytime at .

Volunteers may still be needed to man phones during the telethon.  To volunteer or get more information, call (270)762-1908.
