Nineteen ladies from across the Commonwealth competed for the crown.
The Mrs. Kentucky Pageant is the premier pageant for the married women of Kentucky and the official preliminary pageant to Mrs. America. “I am so pleased to have represented western Kentucky in this pageant, and to win second runner up is quite the honor, ” said Thomas. “Winning the Interview Award was especially exciting. I spoke on overcoming obstacles in life to reach your goals. I set my goal to compete in this pageant for a new life experience and to raise epilepsy awareness in honor of my daughter Kelsey, and in return I was rewarded with two designations and a great group of new friends. I encourage all ladies of any age to set a goal and just go for it!”
