Three Arrested for Alleged Meth-Making in Murray

MURRAY, KY - Three people were arrested Friday in Murray after numerous methamphetamine labs were found in their home.

Kentucky State Police, Murray Police, and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 1626 Hamilton Avenue, and found an active meth lab. Murray City Fire Department was called as a precaution, while the home was evacuated and Hamilton Street was closed.

After state police technicians dismantled and cleaned up the lab, the search continued in the home. Troopers found approximately 20 one-step meth labs in the home, along with suspected meth, durg paraphernalia, and items used to make meth.

Police arrested 49-year-old Gary Thorn, 20-year-old Sandra Pie, and 30-year-old Apollo Tolmie for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, and wanton endangerment 1st degree. They were taken to Calloway County Jail.
