Three Benton Men Charged with Stealing from Trucks

Three Marshall County men were arrested Wednesday on theft charges.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to Quality Inn in Draffenville in reference to a theft from two trucks. Police say tools and other items were taken from the trucks.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of three men staying at the hotel. Twenty-three-year-old Samuel Brackett, 21-year-old Hunter Snelling and 20-year-old Alex Evans, all of Benton, were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500. Deputies said the tools and other items taken were recovered and returned to the rightful owners.

All three men were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
